Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions owners, designers and contractors ask us most.

What does Optura Global actually do?

We manage the procurement of furniture, fixtures, equipment and operating supplies (FF&E and OS&E) for luxury interiors: specification, sourcing, purchasing, quality control, logistics and installation.

Do you replace the interior designer?

No. We work alongside the designer to protect their design intent, while giving the owner cost control and the contractor a reliable delivery schedule.

How does your pricing work?

We work open-book. You see actual supplier prices and our fee separately, so you always know where the budget is going.

What does BIM add to procurement?

Every item is tagged in the model with its specification, cost, supplier and status. When the design changes, the schedule and budget update with it, and everyone sees the same live information.

Which regions do you work in?

We deliver projects across the Middle East and Europe, and source from a network of manufacturers worldwide.

Can you join a project that is already underway?

Yes. We often take over procurement mid-project to recover programme or budget, starting with a review of what has been ordered and what is outstanding.
